I should probably admit right away that I am actually not an artistic person. I am not trying to be modest.... an infant with a crayon would draw a better stick person than me. But, for what I lack in left brain thinking I believe I make up for in determination.
Why start a Blog you ask.... good question.
I am a closet DIYer and although some would call me cheap, I prefer thrifty. When we bought our first house and started working on the decor for our wedding I realized that there was nothing stopping me from making my own decorations, and having fun with my own projects instead of just admiring others. You don't have to have a boat load of cash to design fun things and decorate to match your style (although if anyone has a boat full of cash I'm happy to take it off your hands).
So, if you like DIY projects, power tools, sarcasm and frozen yogurt - then you are in the right place!
Along for the ride is my handy and handsome husband (and yes that is an amazing alliteration) who constantly reminds me to lift with my knees, measure twice - cut once and don't lick steak knives.

I may sit at a desk from 9-5, but what really drives me is a love for creating and getting my hands a little dirty. So stick around while I fulfil my passion for creativity and try to not cut off any fingers in the process.
